Static Page Caching :: Updates

Instructions

After downloading the latest version of the module, unzip the download file and follow these instructions.

1. Updating from Static Page Caching 1.0 or 1.1

If you are updating from either Static Page Caching 1.0 or 1.1, please follow the instructions on this page first!

2. Update FT Expansion

Included in the download is the FT Expansion software that expands the capabilities of ExpressionEngine and third party Add-Ons. It is required for Static Page Caching to function correctly.

In the FT Expansion folder, copy the 'fiery_tea' directory into your installation's ./system/ directory.

3. Copy Module Files

Copy the directory named 'static_page_caching' into your ./system/third_party/modules/ folder.

4. Updating the Add-On

Go to the Modules table in the ExpressionEngine Control Panel and click the link for "Static Page Caching"
Click the "Update" link now displayed in the module's control panel.
